Menstrual leave and Menses Problems of Home Delivery
Until recently, the workplace was said to be a man's world; and recently women are advancing there remarkably. Even home conveniences and goods delivery businesses are evidence of this trend. Even at the Miyagi COOP,women in the delivery business are increasing - driving by themselves to homes. On the other hand, during operations, care for rest rooms should be more serious than a male in the case of women because worry about menses is an uniquely feminine phenomenon. Since we live in a male society with male managers, they aren't used to this problem. Among them, we heard some concern about the problem and investigated it in cooperation with a Joint Purchase Manager's Branch Office Conference, Hygiene Committee, and the Labor Union. Because it has not been announced yet, it is reported here. The survey period was July, 1996.
