Not only patient symptoms, but also information about
labor, life, environment and their influence on the patient are examined in
detail. We have policies and activities that make use of interviews,
diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Though this is a small hospital, we value our methods of examining a whole
lifestyle- including not only labor but also lifestyle. We examine
respiratory functions and monitor bodily functions by computer round the
clock with electrocardiograms and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, etc.
We improve on conventional analyses by using patient data obtained in a
natural environment. Because of the increase in the number of foreigners in
this area since 1991, we started night examinations on Monday nights and
have incorporated that time into usual consultation hours. Usual medical
treatment and telephone consultations are available in English. An
Occupational Health Center has been actively connected with the clinic for
about twenty years.
